*List of 3rd Grade Field Trips 2026-2027:

Tar Heels Go Walking (Grill's class)- Tues. , Nov. 3rd, 9:00-1:00 (4 chaperones allowed per class)

Ingram Planetarium or New Library - Jan. 14th, 9:00-1:00 (5 chaperones allowed per class)

Marine Quest- March 2nd, 9:00 - 1:00 (3 chaperones allowed per class)

Aesop's Fables Play @ Kenan- March 18th, 9:00 - 11:30 (No parents are allowed on this one)

First Communion Brunch - May 5th (Need 3 Volunteers per class, 7:30 am - 10:30 am)

End of Year Party- May 14th, 9:00 am-12:30 pm (All parents are welcome to attend!)

Birthday Celebrations: We will celebrate the birthdays for the month on the 3rd Friday of each month. I will be contacting the Room Moms soon in order to create a Sign Up for birthday treats. The goal will be to have a variety of snacks.

Specials Schedule: (11:50am - 12:30 am)

Monday: Library
Tuesday: P.E.
Wednesday: Art (12:47 am - 1:47 pm)
Thursday: Spanish
Friday: Music

*Please make sure that your child practices their Math facts every night and reads for 20 minutes.

Reminders:

Your child may bring a water bottle to school; it needs to be spill-proof and break-proof to avoid spills ruining work and materials. These bottles may be brought to lunch. Please make sure the water bottle is labeled with your child’s name.
Please make sure that your child has headphones at school, & that they are working properly.
Please make sure your child’s outerwear is labeled with their full name. We have duplicate first names in the school, and this will help ensure your child gets their sweatshirt/sweater back if left in the building or on the playground.
