The Resource Team works with kindergarten thru eighth grade to provide academic interventions and Student Support Plans to ensure student success. We value the unique learning styles of each child employing their strengths to address areas of need.
A Student Support Plan provides academic and testing accommodations that allow identified students to achieve their potential. A Psychological and/or medical testing is required to develop a SSP.
WIN (What I Need) time is provided 3-4 times a week, providing interventions to students in reading and math.
Working with classroom teachers to identify learning differences, create strategies, and provide accommodations is an integral component of the Resource Team. We work closely with the faculty to effectively communicate information regarding students' needs, accommodations, remediations, and progress monitoring.
It is our primary goal to serve as advocates for identified students and to support them and their parents in their quest for academic excellence.
