About Mrs. Leuci

I am privileged to be part of the administrative team at St. Mark Catholic School! We joined the St. Mark Parish community in 1997 - long before St. Mark School even existed!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, earned a BS in Mathematical Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and worked as an analyst for the NYC Fire Department before moving to Wilmington. I served as a catechist for First Holy Communion, a member of the School Improvement Team at Ogden Elementary, volunteered with the Junior Achievement program at Noble Middle, earned a teaching license in MS Math from UNCW, and taught Algebra at Laney High School. While continuing through UNCW to earn a Masters in Education, I taught 4 different levels of math for 8 years at St. Mark. After a stint at Myrtle Grove Middle School, I am happy to be back home at St. Mark. Serving as Math Director, we were able to have our first-ever Family Math Night. We were able to offer Crazy 8s Math Clubs to students in grades K-2 and 3-5. We sent our MathCounts Team to competition and thanks to our wonderful alumni, proudly offered a weekly Middle School Math Study Hall at no charge to our families! Serving as AP has brought me much joy - working with teachers and students at every grade level.

Recently, I completed graduate studies in the Educational Leadership Department at UNCW and earned School Administrator/Principal Licensure. It is a privilege to serve St. Mark School on the School Advisory Committee (SAC) and St. Mark Church on the Pastoral Council. I am a certified evaluator with AdvancEd. I feel blessed to be able to serve St. Mark as the Assistant Principal for Curriculum/Instruction as well as the administrator for grades PreK-5.

My husband and I have been married for nearly 30 years and we are blessed with a 28 year old daughter and 26 year old son. Learning is truly a passion for me and I delight in sharing that with the students, families and faculty at St. Mark Catholic School.
