SMG Physical Education Mission Statement

Through the Physical Education program at St. Maria Goretti School, we will provide students opportunities to learn and practice the skills necessary to participate in a variety of individual and group physical activities with proficiency, while improving their fitness level. We are committed to providing a safe environment where every child can develop confidence and strengthen relationships with God, their peers, and their community. We recognize our responsibility to prepare every child for the demands of an ever-changing world by instilling the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle and encouraging competition in the spirit of cooperation and sportsmanship.
