Technology for the 3rd Age is a workshop that invites people to St Margaret's College who need support with their mobile devices [iPhone, iPad, mobile phone]. This allows you to learn in a supportive non-threatening environment. We will work on basics, extend your thinking, chat about cyber security, get familiar with social networking platforms, and introduce you to several useful apps.

A visit to our local camera & video shop

T3A went on a field trip to the local photo and video shop.

Greg talked through some photography skills and then how to download the photos onto a photo booth for printing.

This was challenging as these older adults paired their devices to the photo, located photos and edited them ready for printing.

This was such a valuable experience as all members vowed to return to get more photos printed!

A huge thanks to Merivale Photo & Video, especially Greg for his patience, humour and tuition.

What Can You Do With Photographs?

The older adult's class experimented with Pic Collage as a display for photographs. This stunning collage celebrates an Inuit artist, Germaine Arnaktauyok, from Canada.

Download Pic Collage and give it a try.
