Pre-K Class:
The Pre-Kindergarten class prepares your child for kindergarten. We teach using the Houghton Mifflin curriculum program. We also provide all of the children the basic foundation of religion using the Benzinger series through stories of God’s Love.
In this class we can verbally state our full name, age, birthday, and address, identify and name common colors, recognize and name common pictures of objects, visually discriminate things that are same/different in groups of objects, draw a straight line, circle , cross, square and triangle as well as identify shapes, count to 30, identify common body parts, listen to, remember, and follow multi-step oral directions, match quantity of objects to numerals through ten, recognize most all upper and lower case alphabet, and print first/last name and speak in complete, understandable sentences.
Three/Four's Class:
Through teacher led activities your child will learn to recognize letters and some letter sounds, learn to rote count from 1-20, categorize objects into groups, state full name, age and gender, answer simple questions, follow multi-step instructions, and independently eat and dress themselves.
Two's Class:
We begin to introduce routine and structure to children’s activities and daily schedule. Your child will build vocabulary, learn functional numerical skills, and will be encouraged to be more independent. The children are introduced to the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes through play and structured learning, music and movement.
