Hello! My name is Mrs. Katie White. I am excited to be teaching 5th grade language arts and 6th grade religion at St Louise de Marillac School.
Hello! My name is Mrs. Katie White. I am excited to be teaching 5th grade language arts and 6th grade religion at St Louise de Marillac School.
I am a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University where I earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education/early childhood education. After graduation I moved to Frederick, Maryland where I taught elementary school for 9 years. During this time I earned my masters degree as a K-12 reading specialist from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. My family and I decided to move back to the Pittsburgh area in 2016 to be closer to our family. I have been married for 13 years to my husband Jordan, and we have three children. Our daughter Penny is in 4th grade, our son JP is in 1st grade, and our son Jacob is starting in pre-K 3's! All three of my kids are here at St. Louise. I love our St. Louise family and I look forward to working with you this school year.
