I hope you had a wonderful weekend. The good news is that there will not be any Spelling or REading tests this week. We will be doing the I-Ready diagnostics all this week. Your child does not have to do I-REady this week. It will resume next Sunday, January 19th, 2025.Masy I ask a favor of you? Please have your child at school by 8:00 a.m. We will be starting right away at 8:05 with the I-Ready diagnostics. It wil be for the entire week. Also, could you make sure that they have a good breakfast and get enough sleep. As always, we want them to do their best. Thank You for you help this week.

There are two events happening this week. Permission slips were givien out for a field trip for the third and fourth graders. We will be going on Friday, December 13th, 2024 for the McCauley
Christmas Concert. Permission slips and money for the bus ($12.00. If you are writing a check, please make it to St. Linus School.) Money and slips and due WEDNESDAY, Dec. 11th, 2024.
Our Santa Shopping Day is Tuesday, December 10th, 2024. We will be shopping from 8:40 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in case you would like to shop with your child.
Third Grade is collecting individual cereal boxes for the Ronald McDonald House. Your child may start bringing in the cereal boxes on Monday, 12/9 and the drive goes until Friday, December 13th, 2024.

Here is just a few things to keep in mind:
A) If you received an email from Ms. Hayes about Compliance Training, you need to get that information to her right away. If she doesn't receive it, your name will be taken off the list for volunteering in the school.
B) For I-Ready, your child needs to complete and pass 2 lessons for a total of 45 minutes for Reading and Math. 10 Points will be given out for Reading and 10 points for Math. Every Sunday starts a new week.

By redoing the paper, your child will get a chance to get a better grade. I average the 2 grades together, and give the better grade. If the paper is not returned to me by this Friday, May 24th, the unhappy grade will stand. I have noticed that some students are not always taking their papers home. It's the last week of 2023! There will different happenings this week, including the 3rd and 4th grade Pageant. The kids have been working hard on their lines and songs. It is sure to be a wonderful show. Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday night, Dec. 19th, 2023. The Pageant starts at 6:00 p.m.. We ask that your child is at the Cardiff Center, in their costumes at 5:15 p.m. A letter went home to every 3rd and 4th grader last week week telling what to wear. If you have any

Hi Everyone,
This week we have several things happening: On Monday, the pumpkins (either individual or family) are due, and students will bring them to the library. On Tuesday, weather permitting, we will have our Halloween parade, Pre-K to 5th grade will be participating. Room 7 will have a Halloween Celebration in the afternoon. Students may bring treats, or juice boxes. If anyone has any allergies, then please let me know. On Wednesday, there will be an all school Mass and a 1:30 p.m. early dismissal. Saturday is the annual Gobble Gobble Run or Wobble. Let's pray for good weather.
