At St. Linus School, the Visual Arts Program is designed to introduce the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design through hands-on activities at each grade level. The weekly art instruction will give students the opportunity to become familiar with drawing tools and techniques, history of artists, color theory, collage and personal reflection on cultural art.

The Visual Arts curriculum at St. Linus School is aligned with the National Standards for Arts Education, the Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, and the Archdiocese of Chicago Curriculum Benchmarks.
