My name is Gina Newby I am thrilled to be teaching your little ones. I have a passion for early childhood education, dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children to learn and grow. With a focus on fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning, I am committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for each and every student in my care.
I believe that every child has the potential to succeed and thrive, and I am here to support and encourage them every step of the way. Through engaging and interactive lessons, I aim to inspire a love for learning that will last a lifetime. I am excited to embark on this journey with your children and am looking forward to a wonderful year of discovery and growth together.
This is my 11th year at St. Lawrence and 19th year teaching. I am a graduate of Central Michigan with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood. Upon graduation I moved to Florida where I taught First Grade.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Brian for 19 years and we have three handsome boys, one that attends St. Lawrence and two at De La Salle. Jack (16) is in 11th Grade, Vincent (14) is in 9th Grade, and Joseph (12) is in 7th Grade.
When not in school, I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, spending time with my family at our lake house and watching my boys play football, and snuggling with our sweet puppy Denali. In the fall you can catch me at Spartan Stadium cheering on MSU. GO GREEN! GO WHITE!
