About me!

My name is Jennifer Settimo and I am very excited for the school year! I have been teaching Spanish for 10 years. I am very blessed to have found a career that I love. I have three wonderful children, a son who is a junior at Siena Heights University, a daughter who is 6, and a son who is 3. I also have a very supportive husband who understands the love that I have for education and my students.

I have had a love of the Spanish language since I began taking Spanish in 8th grade. I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was young and once I took my first year of Spanish I knew that I wanted to be able to teach Spanish and share the love of the language and culture that I have to others.

I am hopeful that all of my students will find the love of the Spanish Language that I did when I was learning the language. I will try my best to teach my students to love the language and the culture. I know that kids always want to know why we have to learn another language and I try to instill in each of them a reason to learn the language that would make it worth it for each student through having fun learning the language and cultures of the Spanish speaking world.

I anticipate an exciting and academically challenging school year.
