Pumpkin Investigation 🎃
This week, our class explored a real pumpkin inside and out! We used our senses to describe how it felt, looked, and smelled, and discovered all the different parts of the pumpkin — from the stem to the seeds. We also learned about the pumpkin life cycle, from seed to sprout to vine to pumpkin. The children were so curious and engaged during our investigation!
Social Studies:
We are learning the Pledge of Allegiance and why it is important to honor our wonderful country.
Small Groups:
Each week the children will have different learning centers that they will work at in groups of 3 to 4 students. The learning centers focus on building what we are learning in preschool (fine motor, names, letters, shapes, numbers, working together, problem solving).
