My name is Kimberly Juhassz and I am so excited to be working with your children this year. This is my 19th year teaching! I am a graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. I am also a graduate of Wayne State University with a Master Degree of Special Education focusing on Cognitive Impairment. My husband Dave and I have been married for 18 years and we have two beautiful daughters Marianna and Madelyn. When not in school, you will find me cheering on my daughters at dance competitions, traveling, shopping, gardening, reading, and enjoying time with my family.
I am starting my fifth year at STL as a paraprofessional for grades K-3. My first four years at STL were in the nursery and preschool rooms. Prior to that, I held positions for 15 years in the public schools with the early childhood and special education programs.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Organization Administration.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as reading books and eating popcorn to relax.
Hello my name is Carley Lusk, I am an SLS alumni and happy to be back as staff! I am also a musician, and love to sing and perform around the city in my free time. Go Mustangs!
My name is Jackie Piontkowski and I am very excited to be joining the Resource Room this year!
I have spent many years at St. Lawrence School in different positions and most excited about this upcoming year to work closely with the students and help with their learning needs. I have a passion for watching the growth of a child whether it's in reading, math or giving them confidence to excel. I studied elementary education at Wayne State University.
My husband Kevin and I have three amazing sons, all who attended St. Lawrence. Alex (Katy), Andrew (Allison) and Austin.
My name is Jill Coraci. This is my 7th year at St. Lawrence. The first 6 were spent as a classroom aide. I am so excited for this new journey in helping your children learn and grow. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University. My husband Michael and I have been married for 19 years and we have 3 children Gabe (16), Landon (14), and Leah (10). When I'm not at school, I enjoy camping, organizing, and being a part of my children's many after school activities.
My name is Barb Lawitzke. This is my 17th year working in education, my 5th year at St. Lawrence. I have a Bachelor of Business degree from Eastern Michigan University. My husband and I are celebrating our 30th Anniversary this year. We have three children, Taylor, Cade and Jayme. In my free time I love to walk our dog Blanco, bike ride, read and spend time with family and friends.
My name is Lynn Rogers. This is my 5th year working at St. Lawrence. I am a graduate of Michigan State University and have completed post-graduate work at University of Detroit-Mercy in learning disabilities and reading. I began my teaching career in elementary education and have also taught religious education. My husband and I have four wonderful children and a dog named Stella. As a graduate of St. Lawrence myself, I’m passionate about helping our students and look forward to working with your children this year.
