October Event: 

Spooky St. Kate's Lore and Ghosts 

Stop by the Student Center and answer one of our spooktacular questions! 

• How do I play? 

  • Pick a ghost lollipop, answer a question about pop culture, St. Kate's Lore, Halloween, or Dia de Los Muertos, and get a chance to win St. Kate's merchandise giveaway!

• Rules:

• The event will run October 14 - 25

• Three attempts are allowed to answer a question correctly per day

• Can come back once per day during the duration of the event

• CL desk is open M - F, 9 am - 5 pm

• 3 St. Kate's merch prize drawings will be given chosen from drawing entries

• Winners will be notified by email on October 28

September Event: 

Sustainability Scavenger Hunt

• Find one CORN-ON-THE-COB hidden around campus once per week for 3 weeks (can be outside or inside)

• Clues will be given out on this website page as well as on a whiteboard in front of the Information Center, CdC 260

  • First Clue: Tuesday September 10 at 9am - September 13 at 5pm

  • Second Clue: Monday September 16 at 11am - September 20 at 5pm

  • Third Clue: Monday September 23 at 9am - September 27 at 5pm

• DO NOT REMOVE CORN,if you find it.

• Take a photo and show it to the Campus Life desk in the Student Org Center, CdC 253 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm 

• Get entered into the Big Prize Package raffle that includes title of Corn-on-the-Cab Champion Katie, sustainably-sourced items, and St. Kate's merch. The prize package is only for St.Kate's students, but all are encouraged to join the search!

• BONUS: Attend the Farmer's Market/Sustainably-themed Activities Fair on Thursday September 12 from 11:30am - 1:30pm on the Quad, find the corn-on-the-cob (and take photo), show it to the CL desk, and get TWO ADDITIONAL chances to win the big prize.

Under the skies so blue, thorny blooms whisper near the water's edge. What secret awaits where whispers of nature brew?
