The Honors program welcomed over 40 new Antonian scholars at the annual pinning ceremony. Director Rafael Cervantes led the event and introduced speakers President Roloff, Sr. Vice President and Co-Provost Dianne Oliver, and Honors students Claudia Milum and Gabrielle Agbényiga.
"You will be inspired and driven to explore topics that interest you while also being able to be challenged to think critically at a higher academic level. Take the initiative these next few years to make your time in the program distinct, worthwhile and one of a kind. Your journeys and stories have just begun and we cannot wait to see the amazing, unique and honorable qualities and traits that you will bring to the program."

"As I enter my final year in the Honors Program, I have taken the time to reflect on the components of the program that will inevitably have a profound impact on my undergraduate journey. I first think back to an Honors Seminar Course that I took titled 'Feminist Ways of Knowing the Body'. This course not only gave me the opportunity to fully learn and understand my intersecting identities as a Black woman, but also gave me the experience to lead class discussions and share my unique experiences with my peers."
