About me

My name is Sarah Hasan and I am so excited to be here at St. Jude for my fifth year! I worked in the School District of Philadelphia for 16 years. There I taught first, second, and third grades, as well as writing and fifth and sixth grade math. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Kutztown University, my Master's in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development from St. Joe's University, and have completed coursework for my Special Education Certificate through Holy Family University. I believe that teachers are lifelong learners, always honing their crafts and keeping current with best practices for teaching and learning. 

Personally, I am a mama to 2 beautiful little girls, both of whom attend St. Jude School. Eliana is 7, and Celia is 5. We also have a dog named Ziggy. My husband, girls and I are members of St Jude Parish. I love a hot cup of coffee or tea in the morning, the cool fall weather, and an exciting Philadelphia Eagles game!
