Digital Footprint 

Everything that you post on social media will stay with you forever. Did you know that that is called your digital footprint? Even if you delete the post or the story goes down does not mean it is gone. People can easily go back and find whatever you have put up. Everyone has a footprint if they have a device.  Your footprint does not just follow you on social media it goes with you on text, when you delete a message. That is what your digital footprint is and it will follow you forever and collect your information.

From this Unit I learned I must be careful of what is posted in my life and remember it is never really gone. When I see other people post bad things or bullying I will tell them about their digital footprint and how it is never gone. I will inform them on how nothing is ever really gone and if the principal needed to see it now they could find it. I can also help other people learn about their digital footprint and how it is still there with you even if it was intentional or unintentional. When one person does not know about digital footprint they will post mindlessly. Now after this Unit I learned about digital footprint and I will be smart with my posting.

I can be kind to others on social media now and in the future. This can be done by not posting rude things or rude messages. You can just not post or post a small amount on social media.  I will only comment kind things to others and try to lift them up. When someone else has done something unkind to another human we can find it even if they have an attempt to delete it. I must always remember nothing you post is ever gone even once it is deleted. After all of this useful learning I can be a kind and smart person on social media. I will continue to use what I have learned in this Unit.
