Have you heard of digital footprint? Digital footprint means all the information online about a person posted either by that person or by others, intentionally or unintentionally. When you post something online it is on social media forever no matter how much you delete others can still see it. Also you need to be aware of what you post because when you are trying to get into a school or get a job they can look back at your posts. Most people don’t get to go to the school that they want to go to because of their posts on social media or their search histories. If you lie on an interview and they find that you can’t do what you said that you can do you probably will not get the job. It all depends on what you post. That is going to be your reputation to others and to yourself. I learned how to know that anyone can check your posts. I can in the future not to post things that I will regret in the future. In the future I will learn to protect myself from others and from myself. That is what your digital footprint is.
