What I learned on Digital Footprint

During the learning of digital footprint I learned that everything you do online can be seen by other people, not just the people that follow you, that some people can have fake things they found from other people. My two reasons are really important when it comes to digital footprint so you know what to do and what not to do for your safety. Safety is really important so you know what to post or what not to post. These three reasons are what you need to know to be safe online and offline.

One thing I learned is that everything you do online can be seen by other people, not just the people that follow you. That can mean anything owners of companies, the FBI, and other people like your uncle Jimmy you don’t know anything about. This is why you have to be careful online. Because it can be brought up later in life. You can get in trouble for saying things you forgot you said. This is why you need to know what to post and what not to post online because other people can see not just your followers. I will be using this reason to stay safe online and make it safer for me.

Another one I learned that some people can have fake things they found from other people like screenshots of your page. People can use your content to make their so-called “content.” This is why copy writing is a thing because it can be used to help you to copy you. This is why some people put their names in the picture they post so people can’t take your content. Following these rules are important because you need to follow them to make sure you are using social media correctly. I will be using the because I want to be as safe as possible when I use social media.
