About the Teacher

         Welcome to Kindergarten at St. Joseph/St. Robert School. My name is Mrs. John and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year! This is my sixth year at SJR and I could not be more excited. I cannot wait to get into the classroom and start the school year! I graduated from LaSalle University in 2012 with my bachelors in Psychology. I then graduated from Gwynedd Mercy University with my Masters in Education with a PreK-4 certification in 2019. As a graduate of Nazareth Academy High School and Maternity B.V.M. in Philadelphia, I am excited to help your child grow academically, spiritually, and socially this school year.

While this is my sixth year as a teacher, I have had a lot of experience working with children of different ages and abilities. After receiving my bachelors degree I worked as an assistant teacher in an Austistic Support classroom for six years. It was during this time that I received my Masters Degree in Education. I student taught during the spring semester of 2018 in a third grade classroom. Following receiving my Masters Degree I continued working as an assistant teacher. During the 2019-2020 school year I was a building substitute for the elementary school in Lower Moreland working in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. I look forward to the opportunity to teach your child this year!
