In celebration of their First Holy Communion, the third grade students led the SJR community in prayerful reflection.
Students were challenged with building a simple circuit using only a battery, a light bulb, and a wire. They did an awesome job!
Per SJR tradition, the last day before the Christmas holiday break, students are treated to a cookie and a visit from Santa. Students also showed off their best holiday shirts!
After a successful fundraising campaign and brisk walk, students enjoyed a cookie and some delicious hot chocolate. Thank you to all of the volunteers for their time and support!
Each third grader chose a Saint to research to celebrate All Saint's Day. A special thank you to Mrs. Tierney and her students for the costumes!
A member of the missionary associated with Saint Robert Bellarmine Parish visited. She challenged students to pray one Hail Mary per day and to reflect with a grateful attitude all of the blessings they experience on a daily basis.
We met with our seventh grade buddies to make rosaries for the month of October and begin researching Saints for the Saint Parade.
Here are some quick pictures from our Water Ice Dance Party on September 10.
During our first trip to the Science Lab, students observed the properties of matter of water, ice, and water vapor.
