Welcome to 6th Grade Humanities!

Over the course of this year, we will build a classroom  community of readers, writers, and critical thinkers. We will explore our identities and focus on personalized growth as we read a variety of texts, try out new writing strategies, and learn about human impact on our growing world.

To help foster a love of reading, we will  spend time engaging in reader's workshop. Each student is required to read a minimum of 30 minutes a night in their free choice book! Students will have access to the library each week for book exchange as well as before and after school.
