Welcome to the St. Johnsbury School's Library Learning Commons!
What's with the new name? We offer so much more than a traditional library, so we want our name to reflect that. In addition to a wide variety of books & digital resources, we offer options for community members to explore their diverse interests and engage their curiosity. We offer games, 3D printing, Cricut designs, button making, tinker options in our ever expanding Makerspace and much more! Please contact a librarian if you would like help with a school project or personal interest.
Meet the Library Media Specialists!
Ms. Caitlin Wallingford (PK - 3rd grades)
Ms. Wallingford is thrilled to be the new Lower School Librarian at St. Johnsbury School! Most recently, she was the School Librarian at Charleston Elementary School, and spent nine years at the library at St. Johnsbury Academy before that. She holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from San Jose State University and a BA from Marlboro College. She loves to make things, read, and drink coffee.
Mrs. Christine Owens (4th - 8th grades)
After wearing many hats at the St. Johnsbury School, Mrs. Owens has achieved her life-long dream to become a librarian. For the past 2 years, she managed the Middle School CatCH Afterschool Program while taking library studies course work at UVM. Almost 10 years ago, she taught here as a 7th & 8th Grade Humanities Teacher. She also has a Master's degree in Liberal Studies from Dartmouth College and a BA from UCONN. In her free time, she enjoys her family and creative, crafty projects.

Hours: Open on all days that school is in-session or by appointment:
Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
Friday 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.
