 About Me:

Physical Education & Health Teacher

Phone: 414-771-5577 Ext. 116

Name: Ms. Karissa Minster

Education: I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree with two majors: Physical and Health Education, along with two minors: Adaptive Physical Education and Coaching. I received my Degree from Carroll University.

Teaching Experience: I taught a semester at Greendale Middle School for student teaching as a PE teacher. I then taught PE in the summer at Greendale High School. I have worked at my local recreation department since I was 16 as a lifeguard, swim instructor, youth coach, and youth referee. This really helped me discover my passion for teaching kids sports and how to stay active while having fun!

Family Life: I am from a family of 7. I have a mom and a dad, one older sister, two younger sisters, and one younger brother. I also have 2 dogs, 4 cats, and a turtle. It can be crazy at times, but I love it.

Interests & Hobbies: I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, coaching girls and boys volleyball and club softball, and watching Disney movies. My family loves Disney, and we try to go to Disney World at least once a year!

I feel so blessed to be teaching Physical Education at St. Joseph Catholic School.  This is such a warm and welcoming community, and I am so happy to be a part of it.  I love teaching and seeing the kids' progression throughout the year. This really is a rewarding job.
