I am from Shelbyville, KY, and I am the oldest of 7 children. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1981 with a BS degree in Elementary Education. I also have a master's degree in education with a reading endorsement. I taught 5th grade at St. Pius X in Edgewood, KY for 2 years. We then moved to Bowling Green, and I taught 2nd and 6th grades at North Warren in Smiths Grove. I then stayed at home for 15 years to raise my daughters, Margaret and Ann Blair. My girls attended St. Joseph from pre-school until 8th grade, and they loved their school! This is my 16th year teaching at St. Joseph School. Before moving into 3rd grade, I taught 4th grade and Title 1. Third grade is my most favorite grade!
