I will do my very best to provide your child with a quality education through Distance Learning (DL). Let’s work together to make this as stress free and successful as possible. This is still new and uncharted for all of us, and I want us to communicate the best we can for you, your child and me.

One of the main goals in 3rd grade is to prepare the kiddos for the next level of skills and more independent levels of learning. They are expected to take a more active role and responsibility for their learning and choices. You are their first teacher and should absolutely be involved in their learning. This is a wonderful opportunity for these amazing children of God to spread their wings and take a bit more initiative within the scope of their learning experience, but still have some guidance from home. I have a great deal of faith in my students and parents.

The weekly planner will consist of an explanation of all work to be completed in a given week in each subject area. All work is expected to be completed by the student to the best of his/her ability. Links containing videos and other special activities will also be included within the weekly planner as needed.

Polar Bear Video

The plan for our zoom meetings will be to meet two times per week or as needed. This will be used to “keep in touch” with the students and to experience a face to face experience. It also allows students to interact with their friends and ask pertinent questions about school work.

My school work hours will be close to a normal school day-8:00-3:00.

I will check my emails until 3:00. After that time, emails may not get answered until the next day. Please, use email for any communications.
