Fall Weather
Looking at the forecast for this week - autumn has arrived! You may want to look at the hourly forecast when you’re making decisions about what your child will be wearing to school. Please make sure your child’s name is in any jacket, sweater, or sweatshirt your child wears to school (uniform or non-uniform). We try very hard to make sure to keep our items with us, but a name makes looking for left outerwear much easier!
Also, now is a great time of year to look at the SJS Handbook for cold weather uniform components. Kindergarten wears navy outwear (not gray from preschool - this is a safety procedure). Boys will eventually switch to navy uniform pants. Most of my ladies will wear navy leggings under their uniform skorts. A few years ago, a mom friend reminded me fleece lined leggings were a thing. These are my girls’ go to for the truly cold winter months.
We will continue to go outside as much as possible, so please help us make sure your child is dressed for the temperature. 🙂
Rest Mats
If your rest mat came home before Fall Break, please launder and return.
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 23rd and October 24th. Please let me know if these dates do not work for you. We will work something out.
A SignUp Genius will be coming out soon to sign up for times!
