Homework will be assigned occasionally. These assignments can include unfinished classroom work and test preparation. It will be posted each day on the classroom homework board. Students will be given time to copy it down in their planners.
Students are responsible for collecting all materials and books necessary to complete homework assignments.
Grades will be posted on FACTS Management weekly.
Grades are determined by averaging homework, classwork, quizzes and tests, and occasional projects.
Assignments turned in after the due date may have points deducted from the final grade. Please turn in assignments on time.
Writing is a very big part of Middle School Language Arts. Not only will students be expected to write daily, they will also occasionally be asked to share.
My goal is to create a welcoming and accepting environment to share student writing.
Parents are always encouraged to read their children's writing to see the growth and improvement over the year.
