Hello SJS families and welcome to Art with Mrs. Williams!

This is my fourth year teaching and I am beyond thrilled to be back at St. Joseph School after taking a break from teaching to stay home with my children. Below is my husband of 14 years and our 5 SJS Saints! My husband (Dan), his 3 siblings and my father-in-law all attended St. Joseph and I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of this very special place as well.

I am looking forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them discover a part of themselves through art. I will encourage my students to be courageous in their creativity, as art cultivates multiple forms of literacy that lead to unique forms of expression and communication. I love to see students gain confidence in themselves as they master new concepts and skills. We will work on mastering various elements of art, principles of design, and how to express ourselves and honor God through art. They will learn that as our creator, God is the is the ultimate artist and his handiwork is all around us.

I will be in communication with you throughout the year, but please contact me with any questions, concerns or ideas. We are going to have lots of FUN this year!
