Theme: Letter Ee
MONDAY:
Centers: magnatiles, egg carton fine motor, beading center
Gross Motor: “Dance like a Scarecrow” sing-a-long/follow-a-long
Book: Ellie in the Fall
Art: Elephant craft. Mix black and white paint to make gray. Paint the paper plate and glue the ears/and trunk to make an elephant!
Religion: Ch.8 God Made Music pg. 33-34 Connect the dots to draw strings on the harp
Math: spatial relationships; each child will get a cup and an object to put below, in, next to, etc.
Science: Start rubber egg experiment
Special: Music
WEDNESDAY: Star Student: Cooper!
Centers: magnatiles, egg carton fine motor, beading center
Art/Fine Motor: Cut out a piece of paper that we will turn into a bat!; -Bats in their places¨ a preposition activity
Gross Motor: Play a game about “echolocation” using our Bats.
Book: The Enormous Elephant Show
Math: Roll and Dot Math
Religion: Learn the song “His Banner over Me is Love” and color then cut out the banner on page 35-36
Science: Observe results for rubber egg experiment
Special: Gym
FRIDAY: *SHOW & TELL* Safe Environment Lesson
Centers: magnatiles, egg carton fine motor, beading center
Art/Fine Motor: observe how the tree’s leaves have changed since we drew a picture in September. Draw a new picture of the fall tree. Cut out Pilgrim hats for our Friendship Feast
Fine Motor: Handwriting without tears pg. 22-23 to practice the letter Ee.
Gross Motor: Let’s take a nature walk to observe the leaves changing on the trees. Can you find a piece of nature for every color of the rainbow?
Religion: God Made Music - practice the song “Jesus Loves Me” and “This Little Light of Mine” while dancing with shaky eggs
Book: Pumpkin, Pumpkin
Science/Math: Use magnets and paper clips to practice counting our numbers
Special: Library
