My topic is on the generational gap that occurs throughout families and schools. I will cover information from as far back as the 1950’s until now. Learning about historical events helps shape the future in many ways by allowing us to further understand how society behaved. Even when a nation is at peace we are sometimes able to evaluate war simply because of repeating historical events. I’m hoping to discover psychological reasoning behind behavior change due to age and time. My purpose for researching this topic is to hopefully prove the significant difference between learning and teaching styles from now and then. I believe most teachers and parents believe that teaching kids in a traditional way is the best way to go about raising one and that may not always be the case in today's modern society.
