ABSENT WORK POLICY
Your child has the number of days he / she is absent to complete and return missing work.
Example: if your child is absent 2 days, he / she has 2 days to complete the assignments. This work is completed, at home, outside of the school hours.
Please make sure if your child is absent from school he / she returns with a note stating a reason for the absence. We must keep these notes on file in
the office. Thank you for adhering to this school policy.

WATER BOTTLES
All third graders should bring, daily, a water bottle labeled with name and filled only with water. This bottle will be accessible in the classroom.
An additional smaller bottled, filled only with water, should be stored in your third grader's lunchbag. This will be used for the lunchtime.
The classroom bottles will not travel to the lunchroom.

LATE TO SCHOOL
If you know that your child will be late to school or need to leave early due to an appointment could you please send a note in with him or her?
This will help me to organize our day better if I know someone has an appointment for a particular day.

BIRTHDAY TREATS / SAINT OF THE WEEK TREATS
I would love to have your child celebrate with the class his / her birthday or being Saint of the Week.
Due to the potential for food allergies please be mindful of treats that are sent in.
I ask that you contact me, ahead of time, to verify if the date you wish to send in an item will work for our class schedule.
