The Women’s Guild is an organization open to all the women of our parish: St. John’s Church in Rapids City and St. Mary’s Church in Hampton, Illinois

Our Mission is to inspire the women of our parish, strengthen our community and join in spiritual, social and charitable activities.

Georgia Miller, President

Debbie Hart, Vice President

Roni Oney, Treasurer

Nancy Day, Secretary

After the completion of a term which started on July 29, 2017 and ends July 29, 2018, the Women’s Guild will present to Father a new leadership team for his approval.

We have chosen two saints to be Patroness of the Women’s Guild: St. Martha, encompassing the social and charitable (work) side and St Mary encompassing the spiritual and devotional (love) side of our activities and endeavors.

St Martha –“Social”

On the second Thursday of each month (except where noted) there will be a fun evening.

Charitable/work will continue to include the Christmas outreach collection of socks and underwear; Memorial lunch; the Big Congrats lunch, and other projects yet to come.

St. Mary – “Spiritual and Devotional” (love)

We will continue the devotion to the Most Holy Rosary, devotion to Our Blessed Mary, and upcoming ideas on growing our faith.

Father, may everything we do begin with your inspiration and continue with your saving help.

Let our work always find its origin in you and through you reach completion. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen
