People pay close attention to the way speeches communicate information in order to evaluate the purpose, by paying attention to the style used by the author to create a desired impact and response on the audience.

1. They will be able to recognize and apply for a specific context and purpose the features of a speech like persuasive
techniques: direct address, responding to objections, repetition, figurative language.

3. Organize a persuasive text – introduction, purpose, arguments and a proper closing. Apply language effectively according to a given context and purpose. Use examples and persuasive techniques that fits the occasion, including the opposing view when adequate.
4. To grasp questions, concerns as well as opinions from a different viewpoint.
5. To think about their thinking, perceptions and challenges.
