Practice Links
Attached are website links to some technology related activities by grade level. The students have used most of them in the comupter lab during class time. Extra skills practice is always encouraged at home!
Students should be able to SCROLL to the desired section on their own.
To begin a game/activity, please click on the UNDERLINED LINK below the picture of the game.
(Start with the games in your child's grade level. If they have mastered those, feel free to move up to the games in other grade levels!)
Mouse Movement Links
(Mouse skills: Movement and Click/Release.) See how many bubbles you are able to pop in 1 minute! (Grades K-1-2 did this in class)
(Mouse Speed). Attempt to hit the dissappearing red targets. Settings: Difficulty = Normal; Target size = Medium; Duration = 30 seconds). (Grades 3-4-5 did this in class)
Ten Frames Activity (Mouse Skills: Move, Click, Drag and Drop.) Move shapes into the frames. Try to make a pattern. (Did in class last school year)
Take A Trip (Mouse Skills: Click/Drag and Move with precision). Move through the disappearing obstacles and increasing levels. (This tests your memory too!) (Did in class last school year)
Dragon Drop (Mouse Skills: Movement). Use your mouse to move the dragon through various levels on the maze. Collect objects & avoid the monsters. (Grades 3-4-5 did this in class)
Candy Timbermen Move your mouse to the different sides of the pole and click. Don't let a branch hit you on the head!
Shape Construction Drag and Drop shapes into their spots on the puzzle. Levels get progressively harder and the lines disappear.
Pattern Blocks: Practice adding and rotating shapes to create a picture.
Mousercise Advanced Mouse activity. (Select "Practice" on 1st screen). Click on the links and follow instructions. Try this with BOTH a regular mouse and the track pad on your Chrome-book. (Grades 4-5 did this in class)

Keyboard Zoo: (Keyboard Skills: Finding and typing all 26 letters of the alphabet) Grades: K-1)
Keyboard Climber 2 (Keyboard Skills: Upper & Lower Case letter placement & speed.) Type fast to find the letters and move your monkey up the levels. Watch out for coconuts! Grades: 1-2-3-4
(Keyboard Skills: Letter placement & speed.) Start with the EASY level. Type the letters shown on the balloons.
Apple Orchard (Keyboard Skills: Letter placement & speed.) Start with the EASY level. And work your way up. Type the letters to slice the apples. Grades: 1-2-3-4-5
Typing Rocket Jr. (Keyboard Skills: Letter placement & speed.) Type the letters to explode the rockets. Moves faster than some other games. Grades: 2-3-4-5
Cup Stacking (Keyboard Skills: Letter placement & speed.) TYPE the letters to Stack AND unstack your cups to get to different levels. Grades: K-5
Keyboard Memory Match (Keyboard Skills: Letter placement). Match 2 cards. Must use your KEYBOARD to select letter and turn over cards. Grades: K-1
(Keyboard Skills: Letter placement speed.) Fill in the virtual letters of the keyboard. (Higher grades must do this with their physical keyboard covered). Grades: 2-3-4-5-6-7-8

Candy Factory: Follow the directions and proceed through the levels.
How fast can you move and click your mouse while avoiding the candy cane branches?
Create your own pizza!
Use the ingredients on the bottom to fill the customers orders and deliver them.
Burger Maker: Use the ingredients on the left to race against time to build the order and serve it to the customer.
Stack the Burger: Move your mouse to catch the falling ingredients. (This is what grades 4 and 5 used to collect sales data for their spreadsheet).
