Week of September 7: We will finish our discussion on comparing fiction and nonfiction short stories. Students will begin reading Blackbird Fly by Erin Entrada Kelly on Tuesday, September 15. The Unit 1, Set B Vocabulary Quiz will be on Friday, September 18. The Unit 1 Vocabulary Test will be on Monday, September 21.
Week of September 7: Students will compare fiction and nonfiction stories. The Unit 1, Set A Vocabulary Quiz will be on Friday, September 11.
Week of August 31: Summer work is due on Tuesday, September 1. We will discuss the summer reading and a quiz on that book will be on Wednesday, September 2. We will focus on the features of nonfiction books for the rest of the week.
