Here are the topics we will study this year:

• Unit 1: Transformational Geometry

• Unit 2: Linear Equations and Applications

• Unit 3: Relationships and Functions

• Unit 4: Statistics and Probability

• Unit 5: Real Numbers and the Pythagorean Theorem

• Unit 6: Exponents, Scientific Notation, and Volume

• Homework will be given most every night, with the exception of the day of a quiz or test. 

• Tests and quizzes will be announced below and in class at least 2 school days in advance. 

Current topic: Linear Equations (Unit 2)

Next test/quiz: Quiz THURSDAY 10/29 on two-step equations, combining like terms, and solving equations with variables on both sides
