Education:

Growing up, I moved around a lot, so I actually went to two elementary schools, one middle school, and three high schools. I graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester, PA. I began my undergrad as a theatre major and ended with a BA in English-Secondary Education. I graduated from Towson University with my MS in Instructional Technology in 2014.

Experience:

I have always wanted to be involved with education in some form. Growing up, I wanted to be a marine biologist, and educate others about the lives of sea creatures. Although my interests changed, my love for education never faltered.

After graduating from Bloomsburg University with my teaching degree, I taught English at Overlea High School in Baltimore. After getting married, I relocated to Harford County where I taught English, Women's Studies, and Creative Writing at Bel Air and C. Milton Wright High Schools. While working at C. Milton Wright, I began my ventures into higher education. I was at C. Milton for 7 years until I took time off to focus on my Master's degree.

While working on my Masters, I worked at Towson University as a Graduate Assistant in the Academic Achievement Center. I worked closely with undergrad students with their study skills and ran several of our academic workshops.

This will be my sixth year here at St. Joan of Arc. I am really excited to bring Coding, Robots, and so much more to our school.
