P.E. Expectations and Grading 

Physical Education

Tim Gattman: PreK - 2nd

Mr. Wallner: 3rd - 8th

Students have P.E. 2 or 3 times per week.  They should wear their P.E. uniform on their scheduled days, except for Wednesdays.  On Wednesdays, students should wear their school uniform.  

Monday:  PreK, 1st, 5th, 6th

Tuesday:  K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th

Wednesday:  K, 2nd, 7th  ** Wear School Uniform **

Thursday:  3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th

Friday:  2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th

The P.E. uniform is any St. Jerome t-shirt or sweatshirt along with blue, black or grey sweatpants or shorts.  If shorts are worn, they must be school appropriate, mid thigh or longer.  You can purchase a St. Jerome t-shirt ($8) or sweatshirt ($18) at the school office.  Tennis shoes are also required.

P.E. General Grading:

K-3:  Participation, Effort and Attitude/Behavior

4-8:  Conduct and Participation/Effort 


Athletics:

St. Jerome is a member of the Catholic Athletic Association, CAA.  The CAA creates an inclusive, welcoming and respectful atmosphere for it's participants embracing acceptance of varied abilities and diversity through athletic competition.  

Sports Offered Include the Following:

Soccer (6-8th grade coed) - Fall

Volleyball (6-8th grade boys and girls teams) - Fall

Cross Country (typically a one day event) (5-8th grade coed) - Fall

Basketball (6-8th grade boys and girls teams) - Winter

Hockey (6-8th grade coed?) - Winter

Swimming (K-8th grade who are able to swim the length of the pool on own) - Winter

Baseball (6-8th grade boys) - Spring 

Softball (6-8th grade girls) - Spring 

Golf (6-8th grade coed, MUST have experience) - Spring 

Track (6-8th grade coed) - Spring 


Please note:

The above list of sports are offered through the CAA, but may not be offer at St. Jerome school.  If St. Jerome does not have a team, and your child still wishes to play, they may be placed on another school's team. See Ms. Rogers for more information regarding this.
