Updated Directions for Science test corrections:  

Corrections will be completed in Room 9 either during class time or recess. Time is subject to teacher's discretion. 

Please do your assessment corrections on loose leaf paper (not the back of a random worksheet or printer paper).

• Number your correction using the number on the assessment. 

• Write out the question and the correct answer. (not the letter, the whole answer).

• Notations will be made in the comment section of Gradebook regarding corrections offered, completed, and the original grade.

• Review Lesson 1 so far (to page 171 top). practice vocab words. 

• Complete Question 11 on page 170.

6th:  

Reading:

1. Review Chapters 1, 2, and 3. 

2. Study all vocab words. 

3. Pick 5 of the vocab words and write a meaningful sentence for each. In your copybook.

4. Make sure you bring your book back--we are reading Chapter 4 tomorrow.

Read something you enjoy (anything) for at least 20 minutes.

Science:

•  Review Lesson 1: Atmosphere for Unit Test on Friday. Use all material: notes, workbook, videos, quiz

• Work on your comic strip in your copybook if you don't have your ideas together yet.

•  If you have finished your data, complete the Lab Sheet. 

• Review Lesson 3 notes.

Wednesday: 11/19/25

5th:

• Study Vocabulary.

• finish your Model of Photosynthesis in your copybook. Use page 170 as a guide. 

6th   

•  Review all of your noun notes.   

(nouns as subjects, direct objects, indirect objects, objects of a preposition, subject complements).

Remember: you will also have to decide if the verb is an action verb or a linking verb.

Science: same as yesterday:

• Review/study all of Lesson 2: Circulation in the Earth's Oceans.

• Test on Tuesday (November 25TH)--moved.

• Finish lesson and Unit reviews if you didn't already.

•  Study your Unit 3 vocab. 

• finish review pages if you did not in class.

• Review the whole lesson--you should be able to explain photosysthesis to someone fully and clearly.  Use your models to help you practice.
