Updated Directions for Science test corrections:
Corrections will be completed in Room 9 either during class time or recess. Time is subject to teacher's discretion.
Please do your assessment corrections on loose leaf paper (not the back of a random worksheet or printer paper).
Number your correction using the number on the assessment.
Write out the question and the correct answer. (not the letter, the whole answer).
Notations will be made in the comment section of Gradebook regarding corrections offered, completed, and the original grade.

Science
In your Science copybook, explain what a convection cell is. Use your notes and workbook.
Key words: heat source, near, far, more dense, less dense, rise, sink, push, pull, warm, cold, particles.
Once you write it out, read it to someone and have them sign it. If you get confused, check your book again or write down where you are confused so we can talk about it.

Examine all diagrams--even those we talked about today.
ex: underline important words, star important ideas, write a ? by where you are unsure (then ask about it!).

Using the visual handed out in class, add a diagram of the prokaryotic cell (labeled) into your copybook.
8th:
Complete end of lesson handout--use notes to support you. Can you explain these ideas to someone else?
