Directions for Science test corrections:  

Assessment corrections are available to all SCIENCE students. Completing corrections is optional. This is the only extra credit available to students, so it is encouraged that those who have had a disappointing result take advantage of the opportunity. 

Corrections will be completed within two days of the assessments being returned for the student to review. Once students have reviewed their papers, I collect all assessments back and hold until the correction window has closed.  Students will have those two evenings to study and revisit the material they missed. I am also available for questions about the content/topic during recess and before school in Room 9. 

The student is responsible for writing the dates of correction availability down in their assignment book. It is also posted on my front board. Reminders are given each day to the class. Students interested in pursuing the additional points corrections provide are expected to come to Room 9 during recess to do so. They will not have access to notes, workbooks, or other resources. The procedure to follow is below. Failure to follow the procedure may result in lower than expected results. 

Please do your assessment corrections neatly and legibly on loose leaf paper (not the back of a random worksheet or printer paper).

• Number your correction using the number on the assessment. 

• Write out the question (if there are diagrams or a scenario attached to the questions,  you do NOT have to write/draw them--just the QUESTION) and the correct answer  (NOT JUST the letter of the correct choice, the whole answer--all of the words).

Notations will be made in the comment section of Gradebook regarding corrections completed, and the original grade. Once updated, all papers will be returned to the entire class.

Homework Week  11/2/2026

Remember--as you practice and study, if you can explain what you learned to somebody--you're in good shape. Don't worry if you have to go back and look--keep checking and trying and you will move forward each time. No one is an expert the first time--it takes time, practice, and repetition. Just ask LeBron, Saquon, and Christopher Sanchez.   ; )

Don't plan to leave all of the work/studying until the day before--chunk it up. Play it safe--you never know what may come up and disrupt your plans. Do a bit each night.
