School Context
Our Lady’s RC Primary School is a Catholic School which is part of the Raploch Community Campus. The Campus is a state of the art education facility comprising two mainstream primary schools, Raploch Primary and Our Lady’s RC Primary, Raploch Nursery and Castleview School for children with complex support needs. The Campus has community sports and expressive arts facilities, used by the schools during the day, adult learning and youth spaces as well as a shared areas for play. All of these provide excellent facilities to support the children’s learning. The current school roll is 93 learners across 4 classes – P1/2, P3/4, P5/6 and P7/6. We have 8 Care Experienced Learners and, as result we ensure that we are actively keeping The Promise through nurturing transitions, targeted support and holistic tracking enabling our learners to feel loved, respected and safe within our school. 50 of our children (54%) have identified additional support needs and 25 children (27%) have English as an Additional Language. 70 children (75%) live within Deciles 1 and 2, our school community is committed to reducing the poverty related attainment gap. Through a bespoke, ongoing approach to monitoring attendance and lateness our attendance rate currently stands at 92.1%.
