Requesting support from the EAL Team

You can request support for EAL pupils to ASN Outreach in two ways.

If a pupil is new to the school and is also New to English (see Tracking EAL learners' progress section for more details) you should send the New to English notification form (link below) to asnrequest@stirling.gov.uk

For other pupils with EAL, schools should follow the ASN Outreach Service Support Request guidelines and submit GIRFEC Forms 1, and either 2 or 3, or the equivalent from the Health and Wellbeing app, to asnrequest@stirling.gov.uk. These requests are considered by the ASN Support Request Group which meets regularly throughout the year.
