The Nat 5 prelim is usually around November time and covers all topics taught up to that point. It is a full length prelim which mirrors the format of the final exam with a non-calculator paper (Paper 1) followed by a calculator (Paper 2). The questions vary in difficulty with roughly 65% grade C and 35% grade A and are a mix of straight forward and problem solving.
