Balfron High School Uniform Guidelines
Why the adults should insist our young people wear school uniform?
Wearing school uniform can:
contribute to the school security and personal safety
instill a pride in the school and contribute to its value
encourage identity with, and support for, school ethos
encourage equality and social justice
promote equity and avoid unnecessary additional costs
protect young people and families from the social pressures to dress in a particular, fashionable or expensive way
foster a spirit of partnership among pupils and staff and between home and school, and between the community and school
promote a positive and professional work ethic
