Air Dropping on iPhone
There is a video in the link above that walks you through changing your iPhone settings.
Photos and videos can be sent as a prank to random people. They may cause offence or upset depending on the content. Sometimes the sender may just be 'iPhone' and young people accept in good faith. Our advice is never to accept from unknown senders.
Avoid unwanted random airdrops
in the atrium
on the bus
anywhere!
Better still change your AirDrop settings to keep safe:
Type 'AirDrop' in search and select the 'General' result for Settings
Go to Settings -> General -> AirDrop
Open Control Centre, long press the connections window then tap 'AirDrop'
You'll find three settings: "Receiving Off," "Contacts Only," and "Everyone." If you only want to receive files from known contacts, tap "Contacts Only." If you ever want to disable AirDrop entirely, tap "Receiving Off."
