My daughter, Hazel, was married on August 3rd, 2024
My grandkids Norah and her little sister Lila.
The 2026-27 school year will be my 32nd year of teaching, with the past 26 years at Lily Lake. I have taught 5th grade, a 5/6 multi-age class, 6th grade, and one year of 3rd grade before moving back to 5th grade in 2018.

My wife Jennifer and I have five kids, ages 34, 25, 23, 21, and 19. All my kids went through Lily Lake Elementary School, but now my wife and I are starting our second year as empty nesters.

My oldest daughter and her husband live nearby, and they have two daughters. My wife has our grandchildren, Norah (5 in December) and Lilah (2), at her daycare, so I get to see them most days. Norah will be starting preschool at Bayport Elementary this fall.
