My daughter, Hazel was married August 3rd, 2024
My grandkids Norah and her new little sister Lilah.
The 2025-26 school year will be my 31st year of teaching, with the past 25 years at Lily Lake. I have taught 5th grade, a 5/6 multiage, 6th grade, and one year of 3rd grade before moving back to 5th grade in 2018.

My wife Jennifer and I have five kids, ages 33, 24, 22, 20, and 18. All my kids went through Lily Lake Elementary School, but after August 21st, my wife and I will be empty nesters!

My oldest daughter and her husband live nearby and they have two daughters. My wife has our grandchildren, Norah (4 in December) and Lilah (1 and 5 months), at her daycare, so I get to see them most days.
