AP World History / World History / SHS Pioneer Baseball

Welcome Stillwater students and parents! 

My name is Billy Jones, and I am teaching AP World History  for the 2024-25 school year. This will be my 8th year at SHS teaching APWH. Previously, I taught Pre-AP U.S. History at Stillwater Junior High School for five years (2012-2017), and prior to that, I taught AP U.S. History, World History, World Geography, and Government at Hennessey High School for seven years.

I am a native Southern Californian, but have lived in Stillwater with my family for over 25 years and we wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I absolutely love history and geography, and enjoy sharing my passion for the subjects with young, inquisitive minds. Please don't hesitate to contact me whenever you have a question or concern.

Class Rules:

• Unless authorized, cell phones must be concealed and silenced. Out of sight, out of mind.

• NO FOOD IN CLASS, unless prearranged with teacher.

• ALWAYS bring class supplies: pencil, black or blue pen, paper, textbook. 

• Raise your hand to speak. ALWAYS.

• Hands, feet, and negativity should always be kept to yourselves.                              

• Respect each other.

• Always clean-up after yourself before leaving. Throw away all trash.
