Andrea Lyon
Counselor (A-G)
This is Andrea's first year as a school counselor with Stillwater Public Schools. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and taught English at Dover Public Schools for 8 years. She received a Master's in Education in School Counseling in 2021 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She is a mom of three kids and three fur babies. She spends her free time playing with her granddaughter, walking her dogs, or reading.

Susan Brien
Counselor (H-N)
Susan is starting her 32nd year in education, 26 years in Stillwater Public Schools. She has been an elementary school counselor for 21 of those years and has taught 4th grade and 1st grade. She received her bachelors and masters degrees from OSU.
She loves traveling, spending time with family and of course all things OSU!

Suzanne Birdwell
Counselor (O-Z)
Suzanne is in her 6th year as a school counselor with Stillwater Public Schools. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Vocational Home Economics and taught for 31 years in the Pawnee School District. She graduated with a Masters of Education in School Counseling in 2018 from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. You'll often find Mrs. Birdwell with a Dr. Pepper or talking about her cute grandson.

Rachel Roberts
Substance Abuse Counselor
Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in the mental health field for 12 years. She has training in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, and additional interventions to help students and families in a time of need. She loves spending time with her family; including her husband, son age 16 and daughter age 2. They moved to Stillwater August 2020, and are excited to be Pioneers. Stillwater has always been close to her heart, as an OSU graduate and fan, Go Pokes! To relax and reboot, she enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, and going thrift store shopping. As the Substance Abuse Counselor, she primarily works at the Middle School, Junior High, and High School, but can provide support district wide. Her office is located at the Junior High.
