This is Bryce Scalf's 1st year as Stillwater Baseball's Head Coach. Bryce comes to us from Cushing HS where he has been the Head Coach for the past 5 seasons. In that time he led Cushing to 4 district championships, and 3 state playoff appearances. He’s won district and regional coach of the year awards in 2022, 23, 24, and 2025. Bryce was also the 2023 OBCA Coach of the Year. Coach Scalf has also served as an associate scout for the Detroit Tigers since 2018.
Prior to his coaching career, Bryce graduated from Pryor HS in 2000. He played junior college baseball at Crowder College in SW Missouri, before finishing his college baseball career in 2003-04 with the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
Bryce and Kayla Scalf have been married for 20 years and have two children; daughter Brylen is a sophomore in high school, and their son Kash is entering 7th grade.

Alma Mater: University of Southern California / Capistrano Valley HS (Mission Viejo, CA)
This is Coach Jones' 13th season with the Pioneers, including being on the staff that won the 2014 6A State Championship. He teaches AP World History at SHS and coached football here for six years. Jones is from Los Angeles, CA and played baseball and football at Capistrano Valley HS in Orange County before attending USC and OSU, and served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years. Coach Jones has been married to his wife, Tonya for 30 years and they have two children, Sofie (21) and Lily (19).

Alma Mater: Oklahoma State University / Plano West HS (Plano, TX)
This will be Coach Boydston's 8th year with the Stillwater program. Coach Boydston joined the program for the 2018 season, and has been an integral part of the program ever since, having served in a variety of roles coaching all over the field, but landing on one of the most important coaching roles on the team, Pitching Coach. Boydston was a 1st team all-district first baseman at Plano West High School near Dallas before coming to Stillwater to attend OSU, where he received a bachelors degree in physical education. His knowledge and experience in high level Texas high school baseball is an asset to our program. Zach teaches PE at Richmond Elementary School, and is married to wife Kaley.
